Chatham Rotarians received an interesting anti-bullying message on Wednesday.

Guest speaker Rudy Lawson of Detroit, better known as “Mr. Rudy,” presented an upbeat motivational program about bullying awareness.

He incorporated the Rotary 4-way test for his anti-bullying message.

His seminars assist educators in the classroom and parents in the homes in shaping values, building character and instilling the power to make positive choices in life.

Lawson has shared his talents in every type of facility from pre-schools to prisons and from churches to concert halls.

He said by exposing youth, parents, families and communities to multi-sensory motivational seminars it provides a new form of effective, creative and appealing education for everyone.

Lawson has a degree in communication/education from Western Michigan University and is a former member of the Council for Performing Arts for the Children and was an artist in residence with the United Arts Council of Calhoun County.
